Gurez in English is called ‘A Gallery, a canopy’. Trust me, in true sense its name stands for it completely. It truly is a gallery which you can keep scrolling and unfolding stories, and truly it is a canopy to innumerable, providing shelter asking nothing in return… This is “Gurez Valley” in true sense.

Gurez is a Valley located in the high Himalayas, about 86 kilometers from Bandipore and 123 kilometers from Srinagar. Srinagar mostly acts as a base to explore Kashmir.

Kashmir has hidden gems in her which you can easily find if you go beyond the usual… One of such gems is this concealed gem—— Gurez Valley, which is now not so off beat a destination but still a much less-traveled place compared to others and has its uniqueness adorned with simplicity. It is an unspoilt beauty preserving its peaceful atmosphere.

Itinerary

Day 1Srinagar Arrival | Pick-up from Airport | check-inn & Chill Scenes

  • After arriving in Srinagar airport , we will take a halt near Dal lake or Lal-chock for lunch and soak in the much-needed #kasheervibes. Post lunch, we will drive ahead to reach hotel.
  • After arriving in hotel, check in to our Housebout/hotel, freshen-up and have some leisure.
  • In the evening, return back to your comfy abode, savour dinner and overnight stay in a Housebout/hotel.

Day 2Drive From Srinagar To Gurez valley | Dawar Arrival

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, we will drive ahead from Srinagar to reach the Dawar – on the way we will cover walur lake Asia biggest lake.
  • After arriving in Razdan pass which is famous for highest pass of North kashmir also you can cover 360° view of Himalayas. Momos or rajma chawal at ‘local cafe’ A perfect location in the lap of majestic Himalayas to disconnect from the urban madness and connect with nature.
  • Post exploration, check in to our hotel in Dawar freshen-up and have some leisure.Savour dinner and overnight stay in a hotel.

Day 3visit local sightseeing of Gurez /shiekhpora | kishanganga | Chakwali last village

  • Wake up early in the morning and post breakfast, drive from your hotel to Chakwali -The last village on the Indian side of the border is Chakwali where a civilian can travel. – shifting landscapes of snowy mountains with every turn.Witness the beautiful confluence of kashmir & Kishan Ganga river at Gurez valley . Enroute we will take a halt at the sleepy  Tulail village and grab a satisfying lunch.
  • After arriving in Tulail valley, take a walk inside the Shiekhpora and take the enjoyment of Tulail valley it’s actually photography site of landscape view.
    after visit Tulail you will leave for Dawar which is 65km from Chakwali
  • After Visit you will return  to hotel. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel

Day 4Manasbal lake| shikara Housebout Hazratbal | Srinagar local

  • Wake to a peaceful mountain morning in your homely abode in Dawar offering stunning views of snowy mountains. Post breakfast,head towords srinagar which is 4 5 hour drive from Dawar.on the way you will cover also another famous lake “Manasbal lake”
  • The Manasbal lake is located at 30 kms from Srinagar. Road to Wular Lake, the largest lake in Kashmir, passes through this lake. The Mughal garden, called the Garoka, built by Nur Jahan overlooks the lake.
  • In the evening, return to your cozy rooms in Srinagar and have some leisure. Savour home-style cooked dinner and overnight stay in a hotel/Housebout

Day 5Drive From Gulmarg To Srinagar | Depart For Sxr airport | Trip Ends
