On Arrival at Srinagar airport our car will pick you up and take you to Gulmarg 59 kms away from Srinagar situated at an elevation of 2650 m. After check inn leave with your one of our team members will pick you up from stand or hotel and give you snowboarding equipment /dressing/and shows you some basic slopes.
You will be assigned an instructor, who will ensure that you learn the basics of snowboarding in the next few days. He will be with you on the slopes throughout. After the first set of snowboarding lessons, the trip coordinator will take you to the Neighboring villages for some hot tea and snacks. After that, snowboarding lessons will resume.
Snowboarding lessons would begin early in the morning. Right from balancing on snowboard to slow speed, short snowboard runs to snow plow technique – you will be taught a number of basic skills required for snowboarding.
Today you will be doing parallel snowboarding runs on the slope and practice all the techniques you have learned in the past few days.
On second half of day 5 and day 6, your instructor will take you to the advance slope where you can test your newly acquired skills.
Bid adieu to Gulmarg as we take you back to Srinagar.
