Welcome onboard Rider. After the team assists you in checking in, we let you wander around the city of you have the energy left for. We meet once again in the evening to greet and team up with fellow riders on this adventurous journey to the Himalayas. There, we prepare you for expected, and the unexpected – the roadmap, riding etiquette, pitfalls, & heavenly views with cold weather conditions followed by a welcome dinner. Now, you are mentally prepared. Go Baba! Have a good night.

Day 2Manali – Rohtang – Keylong – Jispa – Sarchu (240 Km)

Manali Altitude – 6700 Ft Sarchu Altitude – 14500 Ft.
Key attractions – Atlat Tunnle, Sissu & Rahala Waterfalls, Keylong
Wake up early & head to the parking spot. Check if your luggage has been placed well in the backup vehicle. Before breakfast, assemble along with the bikes as we depart for Sarchu passing Rohtang Tunnle. You will certainly adore the heart-shaped waterfall at Sissu. We will take a short stop at Tandi (Keylong) to fuel up for next 350 Km. Glide through the hidden Lahaul paradise – Keylong. Weather and road conditions on the terrain are very unpredictable in this region & can change any moment. Many surprises wait for you – road blockades, landslides, snowfall, numerous water crossings and more. The true rider in you will sense the adventure and be content. Overnight stay and dinner in swiss tents at the cold – windy desert of Sarchu.

Day 3Sarchu – Morey plains – Leh (240 Km)

Please assemble after breakfast & check if your luggage has been placed properly in the support vehicle. The ride on this day adds another level of adventure to the journey – more unique topography & more altitude. Apart from enjoying the scenery, drive safely through the freezing-cold water crossings and keep an eye on falling mountain rocks. Firstly, you will stop at Baralachla Pass, later at Morey plains, the most picturesque road stretch and only part of Tibetan plateau in India. You will climb to 17582 Ft – Tanglang La top. We will make a decent time stops for photography. Then, we continue the ride down the hill. Witness colour changing mountains and topography while heading to Upshi riding along the subsidiary river of the Indus river. We will stay at the hotel at Leh. ‘Welcome to Leh’.

Day 4Rest Day at Leh

Just like you, after riding on such rugged terrains, the motorbike needs rest & a thorough check-up. So, leave the motorbike at the hotel for maintenance. I can sense Oxygen. I am free to wander around. For today, please use the local commute modes – public transport or rent a car. Feed and set free the lone wolf within to explore various parts of the Leh city and numerous monasteries. Go around the market & taste authentic Ladakhi food with salted tea made of Yak milk. Come back to hotel for dinner in the evening.

Day 5Leh – Chang La - Pangong Lake ( 180 Kms )

This day, start early and gear up to witness on the biggest brackish water lake. En route Pangong, you ride uphill on earthen and gravel roads to mighty Chang La (17,580 Ft). From the top, you will catch the glimpse of Kang Yisay top of Hemis National Park, reminding the miniature stature of human on the earth. As you ride further, you will forget count of the numerous water streams on the road, which keeps flooding your mud wrapped tyres. Do not stop at every other point to take photos, unless you don’t mind missing the sunset at Pangong Lake.
Overnight stay and dinner at the camp close to the Lake. Always remember scarcity of amenities in Ladakh & use every resource reasonably. Praise the hardship your host & enjoy an evening soul-searching walk on the beautiful blue lake bank.

This day shall be the bumpiest ride day on the journey. You would love trading your way in mud & water roads in the true sense of adventure. On the ride, you will be gliding hilly curves accompanied by the roar of Shyok. When you look at the mountains across the river on your right side, that would be Karakoram mountain ranges. Sandstorm and rolling stones are very usual, just like Water crossings. Later the river following will eat your road with its huge water crossings leaving very little traceable road signatures. If you happen to be lucky sandstorm will further come to greet you. Once you reach the campsite, enjoy the evening with hot dinner and sky full of stars. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 7Nubra - Turtuk - LOC - Nubra (180 Km)

It is the day when we explore an untouched destination – Turtuk, the only Baltic Town in India. This unique cultured Baltic town was once part of Pakistan, until 1971. Exploit the opportunity to explore the culture and traditions of Baltic People, take a snap with the mighty K2 from the topmost point in Turtuk. Soon after we will head to the last Indo Pak border town – Thang which is just 3 km from actual line of control. You have to be there to understand rider’s feeling of the farthest village of India. We will return to the Nubra valley in the evening and Visit the dunes famous for its humped Bactrian camel. Overnight at Nubra Camp.

Day 8Nubra – Khardung La – Leh (140 Km)

On this day, you will witness a man-made wonder – the road above 18000 ft, maintained by Border Road Organisation. Steep turns, low oxygen & weather unpredictability ranks the ride among the most challenging ride. We will make a photo stop at the top for the customary photograph with the landmark board. After the joyous celebration, we drive downhill to Leh, feels scary while looking at endless gorges. Shop relics and crafts at the Tibetan market after arriving at Leh. They are believed to be the decedents to Alexander the great. You would be surprised to see the greenery and the vegetation at the Batalik region. Later, you will hop on your vehicles to continue our journey to another Ladakhi Town known for Indo Pak war of 1999. We ask the Indus to lead us to Batallik. Day 11Kargil – Drass Memorial - Sonamarg ( 140 Kms)

After being mesmerised by the sunrise and good breakfast, we gear up to leave for Sonamarg. You will be fascinated with the road quality just till Drass, the second coldest inhabited town the world. While we are at Drass, it is must to visit historical Kargil war memorial & pay tribute to those soldiers who sacrificed lives in 1999. Before you get too habituated to the road, Zoji La will test your patience and riding skill. Take a glimpse of Machoi Glacier from the Thumri Top. Later, we will continue the ride to Sonamarg. Once you reach the hotel, hand over the motorbike and gears to the team. Later feel free to roam around the meadows or take a horse ride.
