Day 1Arrival at Delhi & Transfer to Manali

Travellers are requested to arrive at the meeting point at stipulated time as communicated. Private buses never leave Delhi bus stop at exact start time, but staying punctual doesn’t harm. We don’t guarantee front row seats to everyone, so arrive early. Meet your fellow travellers & enjoy the comfortable overnight journey to hills. Dinner is not included in the Bus journey.

Day 2Arrival at Manali

Manali Altitude – 6700 ft. Expected temp – 8 to 25 C.

Key Attractions – Mall Road  

Reach Manali in the morning; reach the hotel by taking taxi from the bus stand. Breakfast in not included on this day. Hotel check-in starts around 11 AM. After checking in, you are free to wander around the city on your own on your wish. Get back to the hotel in the evening for orientation and group meet up. Learn all about the road trip in orientation – the roadmap, group etiquette, pitfalls, & rules. We recommend good sleep & supper. Overnight at Manali Hotel.

Day 3Manali – Atal Tunnle - Sarchu (250 Km)

Manali Altitude – 6700 Ft   Sarchu Altitude – 14100 Ft.

 

Key Attractions – Atal Tunnle, Sissu, Baralachala  

Wake up early & head to the parking spot. Check if your luggage has been placed well in the backup vehicle. Before breakfast, assemble along with the bikes as we depart for Sarchu passing Atal Tunnle. You will certainly adore the heart-shaped waterfall at Sissu. We will take a short stop at Tandi (Keylong) to fuel up for next 350 Km. Glide through the hidden Lahaul paradise – Keylong. Weather and road conditions on the terrain are very unpredictable in this region & can change any moment. Many surprises wait for you – road blockades, landslides, snowfall, numerous water crossings and more. The true rider in you will sense the adventure and joy of the pain. Overnight stay and dinner in swiss tents at the cold – windy desert of Sarchu.

Day 4Sarchu – Morey plains – Leh (240 Km)

Sarchu Altitude – 15280 ft   Leh Altitude – 11500Ft

Key Attractions – Gata Loops, Morey Plains, Tanglang La

Please assemble after breakfast & check if your luggage has been placed properly in the support vehicle. The ride on this day adds another level of adventure to the journey – more unique topography & more altitude. Apart from enjoying the scenery, drive safely through the freezing-cold water crossings and keep an eye on falling mountain rocks. Firstly, you will stop at Baralachla Pass, later at Morey plains, the most picturesque road stretch and only part of Tibetan plateau in India. You will climb to 17582 Ft – Tanglang La top. We will make a decent time stops for photography. Then, we continue the ride down the hill.  Witness colour changing mountains and topography while heading to Upshi riding along the subsidiary river of the Indus river. We will stay at the hotel at Leh. ‘Welcome to heart of Ladakh’.

Day 5Leh - Chang La Pass - Durbuk - Pangong (170 Km)

Leh Alt. – 11500Ft      Pangong Alt. – 15280 feet

Key Attractions – Chang La pass, Pangong Lake

This day, start early and gear up to witness on the biggest brackish water lake. En route Pangong, you ride uphill on earthen and gravel roads to mighty Chang La (17,580 Ft). From the top, you will catch the glimpse of Kang Yisay top of Hemis National Park, reminding the miniature stature of human on the earth. As you ride further, you will forget count of the numerous water streams on the road, which keeps flooding your mud wrapped tyres. Do not stop at every other point to take photos, unless you don’t mind missing the sunset at Pangong Lake. Always remember scarcity of amenities in Ladakh & use every resource reasonably. Overnight stay and dinner at the camp.

Day 6Pangong - Shyok - Agham - Nubra Valley (180 Km)

Pangong Alt. – 15280 feet     Nubra Alt. – 10080 feet

Key Attractions – Karakoram Mountain Range, Shyok River

This day shall be the bumpiest ride day on the journey. You would love trading your way in mud & water roads in the true sense of adventure. On the ride, you will be gliding hilly curves accompanied by the roar of Shyok. When you look at the mountains across the river on your right side, that would be Karakoram mountain ranges. Sandstorm and rolling stones are very usual, just like Water crossings. Later the river following will eat your road with its huge water crossings leaving very little traceable road signatures. If you happen to be lucky sandstorm will further come to greet you. Once you reach the campsite, enjoy the evening with hot dinner and sky full of stars. Overnight stay at the camp.

Day 7Nubra - Turtuk - LOC - Nubra (180 Km)

Nubra Alt. – 10080 feet      Turtuk Alt. – 10000 feet

It is the day when we explore an untouched destination – Turtuk, the only Baltic Town in India. This unique cultured Baltic town was once part of Pakistan, until 1971. Exploit the opportunity to explore the culture and traditions of Baltic People, take a snap with the mighty K2 from the topmost point in Turtuk. Soon after we will head to the last Indo Pak border town – Thang which is just 3 km from actual line of control. You have to be there to understand rider’s feeling of the farthest village of India. We will return to the Nubra valley in the evening and Visit the dunes famous for its humped Bactrian camel. Overnight at Nubra Camp.

Day 8Nubra – Khardung La – Leh (140 Km)

Nubra Alt. – 10080 feet      Leh Altitude – 11500Ft 

Key Attractions – Highest Motorable Road, Diskit Monastery

On this day, you will witness a man-made wonder – the road above 18000 ft, maintained by Border Road Organisation. Steep turns, low oxygen & weather unpredictability ranks the ride among the most challenging ride. We will make a photo stop at the top for the customary photograph with the landmark board. After the joyous celebration, we drive downhill to Leh, feels scary while looking at endless gorges. Shop relics and crafts at the Tibetan market after arriving at Leh. Night stay and dinner at the Leh hotel.

Day 9Leh - Morey plains - Pang - Sarchu (250 Km)

Leh Altitude – 11500Ft       Sarchu Altitude – 14070 feet

It is time to bid farewell to Leh. We assemble after breakfast & load the luggage on Car. You reach Tanglang La after going 30 Km uphill. We will continue downhill towards Morey plains; India’s only share in the Tibetan plateau. Go crazy with lenses in natural light splashes on this high plateau. Strong freezing winds are an integral part of the weather. Sarchu is so remote and cold; it dares you to sleep without socks. Do not waste food here; it is a much-valued luxury. Have a nice meal at the tent.

Day 10Sarchu - Keylong - Manali (230 Km)

Sarchu Altitude – 14070 feet      Manali Altitude – 6700Ft

After breakfast, we start the long day. Although you have been a couple of hundred Kilometres, but as the customary goes, the best is served at last – water crossing’s, Streams & four high altitude passes. Just a few have what it takes to travel back to Manali -Leh highway. With endurance, you finally make it to Manali while crossing Rohtang Tunnle. You are free to go out to old Manali to party. Enjoy the tasty dinner before you sleep at the hotel.

Day 11Manali Day & Bus to Delhi in the evening

Manali Altitude – 6700Ft

Key Attractions – Mall Road, Old Manali   

Check out from the hotel as per the policy. Keep the luggage at the reception when you go out for a Manali shopping trip. Our team will bid adieu from this point. Please reach the Manali Volvo Bus stand to catch the bus to Delhi on the time communicated. Enjoy the comfortable bus journey at night. Dinner is not included in the bus journey. We depart our ways from Delhi. We came as strangers, slowly jellying-up, becoming friends for life.

Day 12Reaching Delhi & Departure

You may reach Delhi at 7 AM or 1 PM in the noon depending upon the traffic conditions. Hence, book you flight tickets with a reasonable time buffer. After you reach Delhi, bid farewell to each other. You will depart with memories and friends for life. Here onwards we leave for our lives and cities.

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Pre-Tour Instructions

  • Kindly have a clear mindset before joining tour. Ladakh is very remote place and lacks amenities that you enjoy every day. The traveler should accept the limited availability of resource and be happy with what you get, be it food, accommodation or services. Contact the team if you have any further doubt.
  • Please plan your flight & Bus to the start point and the end time with appropriate time gap to avoid an uncomfortable situation.
  • Please minimise the luggage to a single back pack. A 60 Ltr rucksack is fairly and justified. Additional bags would have to be charged INR 1000/- per kg
  • If your tour starts from Delhi, please reach on the specified time to start point in Delhi (ISBT cashmere gate, Majnu ka tila or Ramakrishna Ashram). If someone reaches the point after the bus departs, the traveler shall reach Manali by own.
  • If your tour ends at Manalii, please reach on the specified time to Volvo Bus point at Manali (Manali Buss Stand). If someone reaches the point after the bus departs, the traveler shall reach Delhi by own.
  • Pick up and drop service is not included from Manali Volvo Bus stand to Hotel or Hotel to Manali Volvo Bus Stand.
  • Charges for rented gears are not covered in the package. The gears are available separately on rent. Contact the team to confirm the availability and to book the gears. The due rent should be cleared before the trip. 
  • The cost of any accessory- ropes, bungee, jerrycan etc., is not included & can be bought by the Rider separately. Sleeping bags are not required at the tents as the mattress and blankets shall be provided.
  • The company holds right to discounts and pricing policy. Dream Riders Mototouring may discriminate in prices for a group or individual as per discretion. No queries or objection would be entertained.
  • The tour could be cancelled or delayed before the commencement, in the case minimum participation is not attained. In such a case we shall inform you immediately & also return the amount collected from you.
  • We request traveler to keep buffer days in hand.
  • Back-up vehicle will be provided for more than 10 riders joining the tour. In case of riders less than 10, operator would have right to call off the tour & refund the paid amount.
  • Please carry any two of these on the tour – Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Passport. Riders need to compulsorily carry a valid Driving license. 

On tour terms and conditions

  • Inappropriate behavior or harassment to women passenger in any course – verbal or physical shall not be tolerated. In any such case, the individual’s tour will be terminated at the same time & the operator will not be liable to refund any amount.
  • We shall be providing bus tickets from Delhi, Manali or any such place if it includes in package inclusions. We are merely provider of bus ticket & not service provider. We don’t guarantee front seat comfort or punctuality of bus service provider. The operator will not be responsible for delays, seating discomfort or any other on this regard.
  • If fuel is included in Package then it strictly as per the itinerary usage only on point to point basis. Further excursion beyond the stated in itinerary will be charged separately.  
  • Please enjoy responsibly while on the tour without causing discomfort or inconvenience to fellow travelers. Nuisance creator shall be dealt strictly and may attract termination to tour at that point.
  • Dream Riders Mototouring LLP do not assure to fit in everyone in the same hotels or tents. Hence, the group will have to be divided between hotels.
  • We are not responsible for any accidents which occur in or around irresponsible behavior or for any accidents.
  • The traveller is requested to adhere with the rules mentioned by Dream Riders Mototouring LLP & tour Manager. We will not tolerate any sort of negligent driving or riding. Any behaviour which causes delay, non-completion, or poses harm to fellow travelers, shall result in ad-hoc termination of the individuals’ tour without refund. The decision taken by the management will be final and non-negotiable.
  • We take care of the luggage as our own, you shall be responsible for your belongings. Please make sure of loading & unloading your luggage in vehicle. ‘Lost complaint’ shall be entertained only if serviceable.
  • The package covers cost of specified stays at the specified destination. When a traveler decides to stay back, the cost of additional stay & transit shall be payable by the traveler him/herself.
  • If a rider or the group decides to quit at any point other than destination, the cost of transportation of bike to the end destination shall be paid by rider or this would be deducted from the security deposit.
  • Being a machine, the bikes are prone to break down on these terrains. The mechanic requires due time as per the mechanical failure and may take a lot longer than you expected. In case of unrepairable breakdown of machine, rider(s) will be required to travel in service vehicle till next destination where the bike could be repaired as necessary parts can be obtained only certain big cities around.
  • The customer shall be responsible and payable for any damage due to accident or rash riding & cost of any components or any structural deformation. In case of extensive damage, the cost will be recovered fully from the customer on the cost basis. In case of complete damage bringing the bike to cease, the customer shall be responsible to pay the difference between new purchase an & insurance claim.

Code of Conduct in Force majeure situation

  • The management cannot control road conditions, weather, any natural, or political forces; hence reserves the right to take call for trip extension or changing the route on his own discretion.
  • There may be changes in the route and final programme due to any unforeseen circumstances. We will not entertain complaints of skipping destination if the decision improves the safety of the whole group.
  • Any additional cost of transportation/accommodation arising due to such extension shall be borne equally by the group & is payable on the spot.
  • The full amount will be forfeited in cancellations on traveler’s end due to the natural disaster or political turmoil.
  • Dream Riders Mototouring shall not be responsible for missing flight, rescheduling cost or post ride travel plans losses arising due to trip extension or cancellation.
  • When it is unsafe to travel on motorcycle (due to a natural calamity or political turmoil), Arrangements of four Wheelers will be made to the closest safe location. The expenses shall be paid by equally all the riders.
